Condiments (Quick and Amazing Raitas)

Raita is the most popular dip for all the meals weather it is biryani , pilaf or BBQ items we all need raita as a must. Here are some idea for raitas make it quickly and surprise your family every day.

BASIC RAITA:

Blend some fresh coriander leaves , mint leaves , green chilly and a clove of garlic with salt and pepper and fold the paste in to yougart for best results use greek yougart for raitas. Greek yougart is basically drained yougart you can easily prepare it at home just drain out all the water from yougart to make it nice and creamy.

Don't ever blend the yougart in the blender and grinder it will be so running.


SALAD RAITA:

Dice some onions,tomatoes,unpeeled and peeled cucumber and season them with salt and pepper add some lemon juice and pour some greek yougart and mix well.


FRUITY RAITA

Pineapple raita: 

finely dice the canned pineapples and add them in to greek yougart for extra kick season the yougart with pineapple syrup , salt , white pepper and black pepper.

Mango raita:

Repeat the above procedure for mango raita.


Pomogranate raita:

First blend the pomegranate seeds with salt and pepper and fold the paste in to greek yougart and some mint leaves also. you can make blue berry raita by following the same method.



VEGGIES RAITA

Beet Root raita:

Blanch beets in the boiling water to soften them season them with salt and pepper add lemon juice and fold the paste in to greek yougart.

Cucumber raita:

Finely Dice up the cucumber peeled or unpeeled is your choice and season it with salt and pepper then fold it in to the yougart sprinkle some chat masla or paprika on top.


Potato raita:

Boil some potatoes first and cut then in to squares add them in to the yougart and then heat some oil and add some mustard seeds , cumin seeds and fennel seeds slightly fry them and spread it on the top of the raita.

Cumin raita :

Beat some yougart with cumin powder and salt also add some cumin seeds.


paprika raita:

Add paprika powder , chat masla and garam masala in yougart.
